1988 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ62 — rental-platform car came back with damage that wasn't obvious at pickup

Small damage was noticed after the handoff photos were reviewed. For hosts, what inspection/photo workflow actually makes claims easier without turning every pickup into a 30-minute process? I'd rather test this logically than start replacing parts. What am I missing?

Owner notes beat generic advice here. On the 1988 Toyota Land Cruiser in Texas, I'd fix the thing you'll notice every day before chasing spec-sheet extras. Then you'll know the next fork. On “rental-platform car came back with damage that,” that was the fork that mattered for me. The universe charges extra for guessing. Wrote this up on my lunch break.

I'd keep this practical. Verify the cheap/easy branch on the 1988 Toyota Land Cruiser before a big repair or a big spend. I'd do that before spending real money. The universe charges extra for guessing. I'll update if anything new shows up.
