1993 Mazda RX-7 — driver seat clicks during left-right transitions

WrenchDadCommunity StarterJan 7, 20261993 Mazda RX-7 TouringLong Island
1993 Mazda RX-7 Touring, about 141,000 miles. I can feel a small click through the seat base in corners. Mounting bolts appear tight and power functions work. How do you isolate rail play versus the frame or motor mechanism? I am in Long Island.

Cleared nothing. I want service to see the alert on the 1993 Mazda RX-7 first. This is me being the wet blanket on purpose.

I'd want a measurement, not a hunch. Two 1993 Mazda RX-7s can feel identical and have different causes, so measure before you copy someone else's repair. That's the branch I'd chase this week. This is from a 1993 Mazda RX-7 in Long Island with 141,000 miles. That's the sequence I'd use. I'd sleep better after that step, even if it finds nothing. That's my plan before I call anyone.

This is usually cheaper to test than to guess. Swap the cheap/easy piece first on the 1993 Mazda RX-7 and see if the fault moves. Save the big job until that test fails. I'd want a dollar figure or a measured spec, not 'should be fine.' Checking again after work.
