2008 Honda Accord — infotainment became glitchy after an OTA update — buyer question from Atlanta

This started as a small annoyance and I finally decided to track it down. 2008 Honda Accord EX-L, about 220,000 miles. After a software update the screen occasionally reboots and one saved setting keeps resetting. Is there a normal post-update reset procedure owners should try before booking service? Interested in real owner experience more than guesses.
