2018 Mercedes-AMG C63 — seller will not allow a pre-purchase inspection — anyone dealt with this recently?

2018 Mercedes-AMG C63 S, about 114,500 miles. Car looks clean and the price is fair, but seller says they do not have time for a PPI because other buyers are interested. Would you treat that as an automatic walk-away?

Private-party deals fail on paperwork, not vibes. A rushed deposit before you can inspect the 2018 Mercedes-AMG C63 is enough reason to walk. That's where I'd start. Verbal 'we'll take care of it' is not a plan. I've seen both outcomes, which is why I'd test instead of assume. Not letting add-ons ride along because everyone does.

I hear you, though I'd still want a second check. Meet at a bank or dealer title office for the 2018 Mercedes-AMG C63, not a parking lot at night. I'd do that before spending real money. On “amg c63 — seller will not allow,” that was the fork that mattered for me. Do that first. Climate here is different, so treat that as a local data point. I screenshotted the quote for later.

Fair point. Counterpoint: A rushed deposit before you can inspect the 2018 Mercedes-AMG C63 is enough reason to walk. That's where I'd start. Verbal 'we'll take care of it' is not a plan. I'm keeping receipts and dates in one folder.

Walked a dealership this week on the 2018 Mercedes-AMG C63 (114,500 miles) and the doc fee was the tell. If this is nothing, great. I want that in data.

Private-party deals fail on paperwork, not vibes. If the 2018 Mercedes-AMG C63 still shows a lien, coordinate payoff with the lender before any cash changes hands. Then you'll know the next fork. Stop there until you know. I'll update if anything new shows up.

Asking because it changes the advice: Independent PPI on the 2018 Mercedes-AMG C63 is cheap insurance versus a seller who “already had a friend look at it.” Then you'll know the next fork. Verbal 'we'll take care of it' is not a plan. I'm keeping receipts and dates in one folder.
