2019 Lexus GS — alternator whine after adding amplifier and DSP

2019 Lexus GS 350, about 114,000 miles. System is quiet with the engine off, but a high-pitched whine follows RPM once running. Grounds look okay. What is the fastest isolation order for power, signal cables, processor and amplifier? I am in New York. Mostly looking for the right next step.

Owner notes beat generic advice here. On the 2019 Lexus GS in New York, I'd fix the thing you'll notice every day before chasing spec-sheet extras. That's where I'd start. This is from a 2019 Lexus GS in New York with 114,000 miles. Keep sale price, fees, and rate as three different conversations. If this is nothing, great. I want that in data.

Not convinced that's the whole story. If it still isn't clear on the 2019 Lexus GS, a specialist hour can be cheaper than another round of parts. I'd do that before spending real money. Have you gotten a second quote in writing? Make the next action something you can finish this week. I'm in no rush to be a hero on it.

Asking because it changes the advice: Verify the cheap/easy branch on the 2019 Lexus GS before a big repair or a big spend. I'd do that before spending real money. Write the result down so the next test isn't a repeat of the last one. Your commute and mine probably aren't the same, but the test still applies. Doing the boring step first on purpose.
