2019 Mazda Mazda3 — buyer sends a vehicle-history website I have never heard of

Someone interested in my car insists I buy a report from a specific unfamiliar website before they will meet. Is this a common scam pattern and what information should I avoid entering? Mostly looking for the right next step.

Compare apples to apples or you'll get spun. GAP, paint, and nitrogen are optional until you run the 2019 Mazda Mazda3 numbers without them. Do that before you talk monthly again. Write the result down so the next test isn't a repeat of the last one. I'd sleep better after that step, even if it finds nothing. I'll post OTD once I have two apples-to-apples sheets.

Don't send a deposit on a phone quote. I would not wire money until I've seen the 2019 Mazda Mazda3 and the title situation in person or via a trusted PPI. Then the comparison gets honest. This is from a 2019 Mazda Mazda3 in Detroit. Had a similar mess a couple years ago and that's what finally sorted it. I'm in no rush to be a hero on it.
