2020 Acura RDX — my model year is in a recall article but my VIN is not

2020 Acura RDX SH-AWD, about 119,000 miles. News says my model year is involved, but the VIN lookup shows no open recall. Is that usually because only certain build ranges are affected, or can the databases lag? Mostly looking for the right next step. What would you check next?

I'd want a measurement, not a hunch. Loaded-suspension checks on the 2020 Acura RDX catch play that a wheels-hanging inspection misses. Don't erase codes until someone who can help has seen them. Keep sale price, fees, and rate as three different conversations. Only after sitting overnight so far.

Yes, with one caveat: Write temp, speed, and in-gear vs coast when the 2020 Acura RDX does it — then decide on parts. That's the branch I'd chase this week. On “my model year is in a recall,” that was the fork that mattered for me. If they can't show the line item, I assume it's hiding. I'm keeping receipts and dates in one folder.

Start with the test that can prove you wrong. Write temp, speed, and in-gear vs coast when the 2020 Acura RDX does it — then decide on parts. Save the big job until that test fails. Ask what changed right before it started. Move a coil or plug on the 2020 Acura RDX if it's cylinder-specific and see whether the code follows. If the cheap test changes it, stop and reassess. This is from a 2020 Acura RDX in New Jersey with 119,000 miles. Stop there until you know. Video is ugly but it shows the hesitation.
