2020 Acura RDX — seller asks for a deposit before showing the car

Private seller says several people are interested and asks for an electronic deposit to hold the car before I can see it. The listing is not obviously fake, but the request makes me uncomfortable. If I figure it out I will update the thread. What would you check next?

Before you spend money, keep sale price, trade, and financing on separate lines so a “good payment” cannot hide a worse car price.

On that point — I would not send a deposit before I have seen the 2020 Acura RDX and the title situation.

Update from me — I asked for a buyer’s order and finally have sale price, fees, and trade on separate lines.
