2021 Mazda CX-5 — my model year is in a recall article but my VIN is not

2021 Mazda CX-5 Turbo, about 22,000 miles. News says my model year is involved, but the VIN lookup shows no open recall. Is that usually because only certain build ranges are affected, or can the databases lag?

Owner notes beat generic advice here. On the 2021 Mazda CX-5 in Cleveland, I'd fix the thing you'll notice every day before chasing spec-sheet extras. Then you'll know the next fork. On “5 — my model year is in,” that was the fork that mattered for me. Happy to compare notes if your setup is different. If your situation is the opposite, ignore me. That's my plan before I call anyone.
