2022 Honda Accord — dealer keeps discussing monthly payment instead of OTD — buyer question from Boston

2022 Honda Accord 2.0T Sport, about 85,500 miles. Every time I ask for sale price and fees, the conversation goes back to monthly payment. I am bringing my own financing. Is there any reason not to insist on a full buyer order before going in? I am in Boston.

If it were mine, I would not send a deposit before I have seen the 2022 Honda Accord and the title situation.

Before you spend money, keep sale price, trade, and financing on separate lines so a “good payment” cannot hide a worse car price.
