2022 Honda Accord — driver seat clicks during left-right transitions

2022 Honda Accord 2.0T Sport, about 35,000 miles. I can feel a small click through the seat base in corners. Mounting bolts appear tight and power functions work. How do you isolate rail play versus the frame or motor mechanism? I am trying not to assume the first explanation I see online.

I'd keep this practical. Verify the cheap/easy branch on the 2022 Honda Accord before a big repair or a big spend. I'd do that before spending real money. Did the worksheet show tax yet? Worth doing even if the car feels fine right now. Doing the boring step first on purpose.

Write down what you already tried. A second data point from another 2022 Honda Accord owner helps more than a generic diagnosis. I'd do that before spending real money. I'd want that in writing, not as a promise. If this is nothing, great. I want that in data.

Asking because it changes the advice: If it still isn't clear on the 2022 Honda Accord, a specialist hour can be cheaper than another round of parts. That's where I'd start. That's the whole play. Make the next action something you can finish this week. I'm keeping receipts and dates in one folder.

I hear you, though I'd still want a second check. A second data point from another 2022 Honda Accord owner helps more than a generic diagnosis. I'd do that before spending real money. Post the numbers (or the code) and people can get more specific. Might be overthinking it, but I'd rather overthink than overspend.

Yes, with one caveat: On the 2022 Honda Accord in Bay Area, I'd fix the thing you'll notice every day before chasing spec-sheet extras. Then you'll know the next fork. On “driver seat clicks during left-right transitions,” that was the fork that mattered for me. I'd want a dollar figure or a measured spec, not 'should be fine.' If your situation is the opposite, ignore me. That's my plan before I call anyone.
