2022 Honda Accord — windshield replaced — does camera calibration matter? — anyone dealt with this recently?

SunBeltTuner903Community StarterJul 4, 20262022 Honda Accord 2.0T SportLas Vegas
2022 Honda Accord 2.0T Sport, about 43,500 miles. A new windshield is installed and there is no dash warning, but the shop recommends camera calibration. If the manufacturer procedure calls for it, would you do it even when lane-assist functions appear normal?

Ask what changed right before it started. Swap the cheap/easy piece first on the 2022 Honda Accord and see if the fault moves. You'll know quickly if you're on the wrong tree. This is from a 2022 Honda Accord in Las Vegas with 43,500 miles. If they can't show the line item, I assume it's hiding. If this is nothing, great. I want that in data.

Yes, with one caveat: If a shop can't duplicate it on the 2022 Honda Accord, bring a video plus freeze-frame data, not just a story. Save the big job until that test fails. This is from a 2022 Honda Accord in Las Vegas with 43,500 miles. That's the sequence I'd use. I'd sleep better after that step, even if it finds nothing. I'm keeping receipts and dates in one folder.

Not convinced that's the whole story. Capture voltage while the 2022 Honda Accord is actually failing — after it restarts you've lost the clue. You'll know quickly if you're on the wrong tree. No need to make it theatrical. That's my plan before I call anyone.

Ask what changed right before it started. Get a real battery/charging test on the 2022 Honda Accord, not just resting voltage, before blaming a module. Don't erase codes until someone who can help has seen them. If they can't show the line item, I assume it's hiding. Trying not to diagnose from the couch.

Intermittent stuff lies if you only catch it once. Swap the cheap/easy piece first on the 2022 Honda Accord and see if the fault moves. You'll know quickly if you're on the wrong tree. On “windshield replaced — does camera calibration matter?,” that was the fork that mattered for me. I'd want a dollar figure or a measured spec, not 'should be fine.' Not driving it hard until I know more.

I'd want a measurement, not a hunch. Move a coil or plug on the 2022 Honda Accord if it's cylinder-specific and see whether the code follows. That's the branch I'd chase this week. Any freeze-frame data saved? No warning lights, which is why I'm documenting it.

If it were in my driveway, two 2022 Honda Accords can feel identical and have different causes, so measure before you copy someone else's repair. You'll know quickly if you're on the wrong tree. I'd want a dollar figure or a measured spec, not 'should be fine.' Only after sitting overnight so far.
