2022 Toyota RAV4 — hybrid fuel economy dropped with no warning light

2022 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid XSE, about 40,500 miles. Same commute and driver, but average MPG is down noticeably. Tires are properly inflated. What hybrid-specific data would you inspect before blaming the high-voltage battery?

Write down what you already tried. A second data point from another 2022 Toyota RAV4 owner helps more than a generic diagnosis. I'd do that before spending real money. Not gospel, but it saved me a headache. Might be overthinking it, but I'd rather overthink than overspend.

Don't overfit one forum story to your car. If it still isn't clear on the 2022 Toyota RAV4, a specialist hour can be cheaper than another round of parts. Then you'll know the next fork. This is from a 2022 Toyota RAV4 in Salt Lake City with 40,500 miles. If they can't show the line item, I assume it's hiding. A day of patience here is cheaper than a wrong part. I'm in no rush to be a hero on it.

Quick add on that: On the 2022 Toyota RAV4 in Salt Lake City, I'd fix the thing you'll notice every day before chasing spec-sheet extras. That's where I'd start. On “hybrid fuel economy dropped with no warning,” that was the fork that mattered for me. When does it actually happen? That's my plan before I call anyone.
