2022 Toyota RAV4 — preventive cleaning of the hybrid battery cooling fan

DieselGalCommunity StarterDec 30, 20252022 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid XSENew Jersey
2022 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid XSE, about 57,500 miles. The car carries pets and sees dusty conditions. Is inspecting or cleaning the battery cooling intake/fan a reasonable preventive job when the service procedure allows it?

Owner notes beat generic advice here. On the 2022 Toyota RAV4 in New Jersey, I'd fix the thing you'll notice every day before chasing spec-sheet extras. That's where I'd start. On “preventive cleaning of the hybrid battery cooling,” that was the fork that mattered for me. I'd want that in writing, not as a promise. Wrote this up on my lunch break.

Following up on preventive cleaning of the hybrid battery cooling: still happening, but I have better notes now. This is me being the wet blanket on purpose.
