2023 Genesis G70 — should I negotiate the trade and purchase separately?

I have a trade with some equity and I am buying another car. Dealer wants to talk only in payment numbers. Would you settle sale price first, then trade value, then financing so each piece stays visible?

Write down what you already tried. A second data point from another 2023 Genesis G70 owner helps more than a generic diagnosis. Then you'll know the next fork. Do that first. I'd rather be boring and correct. If this is nothing, great. I want that in data.

I'd keep this practical. Verify the cheap/easy branch on the 2023 Genesis G70 before a big repair or a big spend. That's where I'd start. Time, temperature, and whether it's in gear are the notes that actually help a shop. Doing the boring step first on purpose.
