2023 Genesis G70 — steering wheel shakes only under highway braking

2023 Genesis G70 3.3T, about 43,500 miles. Cruising is smooth, but braking from highway speed makes the steering wheel shake. Pads still have material. Would you start with rotor runout/thickness variation, hub condition or suspension bushings? I am trying to get the facts straight before spending money. What would you check next?

I'd want a measurement, not a hunch. Get a real battery/charging test on the 2023 Genesis G70, not just resting voltage, before blaming a module. If the cheap test changes it, stop and reassess. Any freeze-frame data saved? I'd rather be boring and correct. I keep a notes app thread for this now.

Ask what changed right before it started. Swap the cheap/easy piece first on the 2023 Genesis G70 and see if the fault moves. You'll know quickly if you're on the wrong tree. This is from a 2023 Genesis G70 in Chicago with 43,500 miles. If it doesn't change the out-the-door or the repair estimate, it's noise. I already checked the easy fluid levels.

I wouldn't throw parts yet. Loaded-suspension checks on the 2023 Genesis G70 catch play that a wheels-hanging inspection misses. Don't erase codes until someone who can help has seen them. Verbal 'we'll take care of it' is not a plan. Cold start is when I can actually reproduce it.

If it were in my driveway, write temp, speed, and in-gear vs coast when the 2023 Genesis G70 does it — then decide on parts. Save the big job until that test fails. Take it or leave it — that's what I'd do. Happens in gear, not in park, for what that's worth.

Start with the test that can prove you wrong. If a shop can't duplicate it on the 2023 Genesis G70, bring a video plus freeze-frame data, not just a story. If the cheap test changes it, stop and reassess. If they can't show the line item, I assume it's hiding. Happens in gear, not in park, for what that's worth.

I'd want a dollar figure or a measured spec, not 'should be fine.' Not trying to scare you — just skip the expensive first guess. Video is ugly but it shows the hesitation.
