2023 Mercedes-AMG C43 4MATIC — new model reveal: what matters beyond the headline specs?

JDMTuner26Community StarterJul 15, 20262023 Mercedes-AMG C43 4MATICDallas–Fort Worth
A new model just dropped and the headline numbers look good, but I'm more interested in curb weight, wheel/tire sizes, real rear-seat room, charging/fueling, repairability and what features are locked behind packages. If I fix it I'll come back and update the thread.

Low-voltage gremlins will strand you even with a full pack. Try a second charger before blaming the 2023 Mercedes-AMG C43 — site sharing and pack temp change the curve a lot. That's where I'd start. The universe charges extra for guessing. Worth doing even if the car feels fine right now. Happens in gear, not in park, for what that's worth.

Don't clear the alert just to make the screen pretty. Leave the alerts on the 2023 Mercedes-AMG C43 so service can see what you saw. I'd do that before spending real money. A shop burned me once by skipping that step. Cold start is when I can actually reproduce it.

Fair point. Counterpoint: Try a second charger before blaming the 2023 Mercedes-AMG C43 — site sharing and pack temp change the curve a lot. I'd do that before spending real money. Keep sale price, fees, and rate as three different conversations. Doing the boring step first on purpose.

That's a good start, but I wouldn't stop there. Match starting SOC and battery temp if you're comparing 2023 Mercedes-AMG C43 charge sessions. I'd do that before spending real money. This is from a 2023 Mercedes-AMG C43 in Dallas–Fort Worth. The universe charges extra for guessing. A day of patience here is cheaper than a wrong part. Happens in gear, not in park, for what that's worth.

Charge curves lie if you don't match starting SOC and temp. Match starting SOC and battery temp if you're comparing 2023 Mercedes-AMG C43 charge sessions. That's where I'd start. The universe charges extra for guessing. A day of patience here is cheaper than a wrong part. Next check is the cheap one I can do in a driveway.

I'd treat 12V warnings as a no-ignore. On the 2023 Mercedes-AMG C43, I'd get the 12V/DC-DC side checked even if the traction pack looks fine. Then you'll know the next fork. On “amg c43 4matic — new model reveal:,” that was the fork that mattered for me. The universe charges extra for guessing. If your situation is the opposite, ignore me. This is the version I'd tell a friend.

Yes, with one caveat: Leave the alerts on the 2023 Mercedes-AMG C43 so service can see what you saw. I'd do that before spending real money. Write the result down so the next test isn't a repeat of the last one. I'd sleep better after that step, even if it finds nothing. I already checked the easy fluid levels.

Then you'll know the next fork. Learned this the expensive way on a previous car. If this is nothing, great. I want that in data.

Quick add on that: On the 2023 Mercedes-AMG C43, I'd get the 12V/DC-DC side checked even if the traction pack looks fine. I'd do that before spending real money.
