2023 Toyota 4Runner TRD Pro — anyone else: Air down for trails but still drive pavement between sections

Trail system has short paved sections between dirt. What's a sensible pressure strategy if I don't want to air up/down every 10 minutes but also don't want to overheat the tires? Ambient temp was about 92°F when I noticed it.

It did anyone else: air down for trails but twice this week, both times after sitting. No change in mileage feel. Cold start is when I can actually reproduce it.

I'd want a measurement, not a hunch. A pressure test beats staring at a dry driveway if the 2023 Toyota 4Runner is losing coolant with no puddle. Save the big job until that test fails. Monthly payment math is how wallets disappear. Not interested in a five-hour wait for a shrug.

Asking because it changes the advice: Swap the cheap/easy piece first on the 2023 Toyota 4Runner and see if the fault moves. Save the big job until that test fails. Post the numbers (or the code) and people can get more specific. Only after sitting overnight so far.

This is usually cheaper to test than to guess. Move a coil or plug on the 2023 Toyota 4Runner if it's cylinder-specific and see whether the code follows. That's the branch I'd chase this week. Monthly payment math is how wallets disappear. That's my plan before I call anyone.

Log the conditions before you spend. A pressure test beats staring at a dry driveway if the 2023 Toyota 4Runner is losing coolant with no puddle. Save the big job until that test fails. On “anyone else: air down for trails but,” that was the fork that mattered for me. If you share a photo of the worksheet, easier to sanity-check. Climate here is different, so treat that as a local data point. This is me being the wet blanket on purpose.
