2024 Acura MDX — factory order status has not moved in weeks

2024 Acura MDX Type S, about 33,000 miles. Dealer gave me an order/reference number but the status has been unchanged for weeks. For people who have ordered cars, what updates are meaningful versus normal waiting between milestones? I am in San Antonio.

If I were shopping this, in San Antonio, insurance quotes flipped a 2024 Acura MDX comparison for me more than the sale price did. Then the comparison gets honest. A shop burned me once by skipping that step. Worth doing even if the car feels fine right now. If they only talk monthly I'm walking.

Quick add on that: Keep sale price, trade, and financing split on the 2024 Acura MDX so a “good payment” cannot bury a worse deal. Do that before you talk monthly again. That's the sequence I'd use. Going to re-read the worksheet tonight.
