2024 Acura MDX Type S — need advice: Recall shows for my model but not my VIN

2024 Acura MDX Type S, about 48,000 miles. I saw a recall announcement that includes my model year, but my VIN currently shows no open recall. Is that usually because only a subset is affected, or can VIN databases lag behind an announcement? If I fix it I'll come back and update the thread.

Software recalls make me ask how much of 'driving' lives in a module now. If this is a 2027 reveal, I wouldn't map it onto today's 2024 Acura MDX ownership costs yet. I'd do that before spending real money. This is from a 2024 Acura MDX in Denver / Front Range with 48,000 miles. Parts cannon is a personality type I try to avoid. I'd sleep better after that step, even if it finds nothing. Might be overthinking it, but I'd rather overthink than overspend.

New-model numbers always look better than curb weight and tire size. If this is a 2027 reveal, I wouldn't map it onto today's 2024 Acura MDX ownership costs yet. That's where I'd start. Parts cannon is a personality type I try to avoid. I'm keeping receipts and dates in one folder.
