2024 Acura MDX — water spots keep coming back after correction

2024 Acura MDX Type S, about 28,500 miles. Paint looked perfect after polishing, but water spotting returns after outdoor washes. I do not want to keep removing clear coat. What process change would you make first?

I'd keep this practical. Verify the cheap/easy branch on the 2024 Acura MDX before a big repair or a big spend. I'd do that before spending real money. Do that first. I've seen both outcomes, which is why I'd test instead of assume. This is me being the wet blanket on purpose.

Don't overfit one forum story to your car. If it still isn't clear on the 2024 Acura MDX, a specialist hour can be cheaper than another round of parts. Then you'll know the next fork. Take it or leave it — that's what I'd do. If the story changes I'll post the new data.

Quick add on that: A second data point from another 2024 Acura MDX owner helps more than a generic diagnosis. That's where I'd start. That's the sequence I'd use. Might be overthinking it, but I'd rather overthink than overspend.

I parked the 2024 Acura MDX and wrote down what I already tested so I'm not repeating myself. That's my plan before I call anyone.
