2024 Mitsubishi Outlander — car pulls right even though alignment is green

DealScout262Community StarterJul 11, 20262024 Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV SELSacramento
This started as a small annoyance and I finally decided to track it down. 2024 Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV SEL, about 23,500 miles. Alignment printout is within spec, but the car still wants to drift right on a flat road. Tire pressures match. Would you cross-rotate tires to check radial pull, or look harder at caster/camber side-to-side? I am in Sacramento.

I'd want a measurement, not a hunch. Write temp, speed, and in-gear vs coast when the 2024 Mitsubishi Outlander does it — then decide on parts. Don't erase codes until someone who can help has seen them. Time, temperature, and whether it's in gear are the notes that actually help a shop. If it repeats twice more I'll book time.

Log the conditions before you spend. Move a coil or plug on the 2024 Mitsubishi Outlander if it's cylinder-specific and see whether the code follows. Save the big job until that test fails. On “car pulls right even though alignment is,” that was the fork that mattered for me. I'd want a dollar figure or a measured spec, not 'should be fine.' If your situation is the opposite, ignore me. This is me being the wet blanket on purpose.

Checked the easy stuff on the 2024 Mitsubishi Outlander and found one clue worth chasing before I book a shop. Happens in gear, not in park, for what that's worth.

That's a good start, but I wouldn't stop there. Capture voltage while the 2024 Mitsubishi Outlander is actually failing — after it restarts you've lost the clue. If the cheap test changes it, stop and reassess. Just my two cents from doing this recently. Make the next action something you can finish this week. Not interested in a five-hour wait for a shrug.

Start with the test that can prove you wrong. Move a coil or plug on the 2024 Mitsubishi Outlander if it's cylinder-specific and see whether the code follows. Don't erase codes until someone who can help has seen them. Stop there until you know. Worth doing even if the car feels fine right now. I'm in no rush to be a hero on it.

Start with the test that can prove you wrong. Two 2024 Mitsubishi Outlanders can feel identical and have different causes, so measure before you copy someone else's repair. If the cheap test changes it, stop and reassess. Do that first. If the story changes I'll post the new data.

Ask what changed right before it started. If a shop can't duplicate it on the 2024 Mitsubishi Outlander, bring a video plus freeze-frame data, not just a story. Save the big job until that test fails. This is from a 2024 Mitsubishi Outlander in Sacramento with 23,500 miles. If it doesn't change the out-the-door or the repair estimate, it's noise. Checking again after work.

I hear you, though I'd still want a second check. Capture voltage while the 2024 Mitsubishi Outlander is actually failing — after it restarts you've lost the clue. That's the branch I'd chase this week. Happy to compare notes if your setup is different. Not trying to scare you — just skip the expensive first guess. If the story changes I'll post the new data.

Intermittent stuff lies if you only catch it once. Get a real battery/charging test on the 2024 Mitsubishi Outlander, not just resting voltage, before blaming a module. Save the big job until that test fails. On “car pulls right even though alignment is,” that was the fork that mattered for me. Run the total, not the monthly, before you commit. Wrote this up on my lunch break.

Agree — and I'd add this: Write temp, speed, and in-gear vs coast when the 2024 Mitsubishi Outlander does it — then decide on parts. That's the branch I'd chase this week. On “car pulls right even though alignment is,” that was the fork that mattered for me. Did the worksheet show tax yet? Next check is the cheap one I can do in a driveway.

Tried a second charger / second scan and the story on the 2024 Mitsubishi Outlander didn't change. Parking it somewhere I can hear it better next time.
