2024 Mitsubishi Outlander — single clunk over small sharp bumps

2024 Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV SEL, about 30,500 miles. There is one front-end clunk over pothole edges and driveway lips, but larger smooth bumps do not reproduce it. How would you isolate end links, strut mounts, control-arm bushings and ball joints? If I figure it out I will update the thread.

Don't overfit one forum story to your car. If it still isn't clear on the 2024 Mitsubishi Outlander, a specialist hour can be cheaper than another round of parts. I'd do that before spending real money. Stop there until you know. I'm keeping receipts and dates in one folder.

Owner notes beat generic advice here. On the 2024 Mitsubishi Outlander in Central Jersey, I'd fix the thing you'll notice every day before chasing spec-sheet extras. I'd do that before spending real money. On “single clunk over small sharp bumps,” that was the fork that mattered for me. Not gospel, but it saved me a headache. I'd do that before spending real money. On “single clunk over small sharp bumps,” that was the fork that mattered for me. If it doesn't change the out-the-door or the repair estimate, it's noise. This is the filter I use when the thread starts repeating itself. That's my plan before I call anyone.

I'd keep this practical. Verify the cheap/easy branch on the 2024 Mitsubishi Outlander before a big repair or a big spend. That's where I'd start. Had a similar mess a couple years ago and that's what finally sorted it. Doing the boring step first on purpose.

Learned this the expensive way on a previous car. That's coming from doing this as an owner, not a shop. I'm in no rush to be a hero on it.

Write down what you already tried. A second data point from another 2024 Mitsubishi Outlander owner helps more than a generic diagnosis. That's where I'd start. Run the total, not the monthly, before you commit. This is the version I'd tell a friend.
