2024 Ram 1500 — factory order status has not moved in weeks

This started as a small annoyance and I finally decided to track it down. Dealer gave me an order/reference number but the status has been unchanged for weeks. For people who have ordered cars, what updates are meaningful versus normal waiting between milestones? Interested in real owner experience more than guesses.

Insurance and tax belong in the comparison, not as a surprise. Call your insurer in Northern Virginia before you fall in love with the 2024 Ram 1500. I'd rather lose the car than buy a foggy deal. On “factory order status has not moved in,” that was the fork that mattered for me. Take it or leave it — that's what I'd do. I asked for the buyer’s order in email, not a text.
