2025 Lexus NX 350h — two-post lift in a residential garage — what should I verify?

2025 Lexus NX 350h, about 8,200 miles. Ceiling height looks workable but I'm more worried about slab thickness, concrete strength, anchor location and door tracks. What measurements would you collect before even shopping lifts? If I fix it I'll come back and update the thread.

The trap is a pretty payment hiding a worse car price. In Chicago, insurance quotes flipped a 2025 Lexus NX comparison for me more than the sale price did. Then the comparison gets honest. This is from a 2025 Lexus NX in Chicago with 8,200 miles. Parts cannon is a personality type I try to avoid. Not letting add-ons ride along because everyone does.

I'd want competing paper, not competing stories. Keep sale price, trade, and financing split on the 2025 Lexus NX so a “good payment” cannot bury a worse deal. I'd rather lose the car than buy a foggy deal. Have you gotten a second quote in writing? I'll post OTD once I have two apples-to-apples sheets.

Walk if they won't put it on a buyer’s order. If they're pushing term length to shrink the payment, the 2025 Lexus NX price probably got worse. Then the comparison gets honest. Learned this the expensive way on a previous car. I'll update if anything new shows up.

I'd want competing paper, not competing stories. Keep sale price, trade, and financing split on the 2025 Lexus NX so a “good payment” cannot bury a worse deal. If they balk, that's your answer. That's the whole play. If this is nothing, great. I want that in data.

Walk if they won't put it on a buyer’s order. I would not wire money until I've seen the 2025 Lexus NX and the title situation in person or via a trusted PPI. Screenshot the worksheet if you can. If it doesn't change the out-the-door or the repair estimate, it's noise. This is me being the wet blanket on purpose.

Walked a dealership this week on the 2025 Lexus NX (8,200 miles) and the doc fee was the tell. Sleeping on the number either way.

That's a good start, but I wouldn't stop there. Two 2025 Lexus NX quotes only help if both include tax, title, and the same options. Screenshot the worksheet if you can. I'd want a dollar figure or a measured spec, not 'should be fine.' A day of patience here is cheaper than a wrong part. If the VIN lookup is clean I'm still doing PPI.

I hear you, though I'd still want a second check. GAP, paint, and nitrogen are optional until you run the 2025 Lexus NX numbers without them. Do that before you talk monthly again. On “two-post lift in a residential garage —,” that was the fork that mattered for me. A shop burned me once by skipping that step. Wrote this up on my lunch break.
