2025 Lucid Air — factory order status has not moved in weeks — trying to narrow this down

TowTunerCommunity StarterFeb 13, 20262025 Lucid Air PureDenver
2025 Lucid Air Pure, about 9,000 miles. Dealer gave me an order/reference number but the status has been unchanged for weeks. For people who have ordered cars, what updates are meaningful versus normal waiting between milestones? Interested in real owner experience more than guesses.

Title status is the whole conversation. A rushed deposit before you can inspect the 2025 Lucid Air is enough reason to walk. Then you'll know the next fork. This is from a 2025 Lucid Air in Denver with 9,000 miles. If they can't show the line item, I assume it's hiding. Not trying to scare you — just skip the expensive first guess. I'll post OTD once I have two apples-to-apples sheets.

Title status is the whole conversation. Independent PPI on the 2025 Lucid Air is cheap insurance versus a seller who “already had a friend look at it.” I'd do that before spending real money. Verbal 'we'll take care of it' is not a plan. Sleeping on the number either way.

I'd treat this like cash with a paper trail. A rushed deposit before you can inspect the 2025 Lucid Air is enough reason to walk. Then you'll know the next fork. On “factory order status has not moved in,” that was the fork that mattered for me. If it doesn't change the out-the-door or the repair estimate, it's noise. That's my plan before I call anyone.

Private-party deals fail on paperwork, not vibes. Bill of sale, VIN, odometer, and names matching the title — I'd want all four on the 2025 Lucid Air. That's where I'd start. Write the result down so the next test isn't a repeat of the last one. Your commute and mine probably aren't the same, but the test still applies. Doc fee is the line I'm watching.
