2025 Lucid Air Pure — alternator whine after adding a DSP amp

System is clean with the engine off, but as soon as it starts I get a high-pitched whine that follows RPM. I already checked the obvious grounds. What is the most efficient order for isolating whether the noise is power, signal, or routing? Any data points from owners would help.

Get the messy numbers in writing first. Call your insurer in New Jersey before you fall in love with the 2025 Lucid Air. If they balk, that's your answer. On “alternator whine after adding a dsp amp,” that was the fork that mattered for me. Just my two cents from doing this recently. Wrote this up on my lunch break.

If I were shopping this, i would not wire money until I've seen the 2025 Lucid Air and the title situation in person or via a trusted PPI. That's the part that actually changes the decision. Just my two cents from doing this recently. Not letting add-ons ride along because everyone does.
