2025 Toyota Camry — when does GAP actually make sense?

2025 Toyota Camry XSE, about 24,000 miles. I am financing most of the purchase and depreciation could be steep early on. How do you decide whether GAP is worthwhile versus a larger down payment or buying coverage elsewhere? Interested in real owner experience more than guesses.

Compare apples to apples or you'll get spun. Call your insurer in Orlando before you fall in love with the 2025 Toyota Camry. Do that before you talk monthly again. This is from a 2025 Toyota Camry in Orlando with 24,000 miles. If it doesn't change the out-the-door or the repair estimate, it's noise. Sleeping on the number either way.

I asked about when does gap actually make sense again and they still won't put GAP/add-ons on their own lines. I'm in no rush to be a hero on it.
