Air down for trails but still drive pavement between sections

Trail system has short paved sections between dirt. What's a sensible pressure strategy if I don't want to air up/down every 10 minutes but also don't want to overheat the tires? If I fix it I'll come back and update the thread.

Intermittent stuff lies if you only catch it once. Swap the cheap/easy piece first on the 2024 Ram 1500 and see if the fault moves. That's the branch I'd chase this week. On “air down for trails but still drive,” that was the fork that mattered for me. This is from a 2024 Ram 1500 in South Florida. Do that first. I'll poke at it this weekend.

I went back under the 2024 Ram 1500 and it only happens after a heat soak, not on a cold start. Parking it somewhere I can hear it better next time.

I wouldn't throw parts yet. A pressure test beats staring at a dry driveway if the 2024 Ram 1500 is losing coolant with no puddle. If the cheap test changes it, stop and reassess. A shop burned me once by skipping that step. Worth doing even if the car feels fine right now. Happens in gear, not in park, for what that's worth.

I'd push back a little: Capture voltage while the 2024 Ram 1500 is actually failing — after it restarts you've lost the clue. Don't erase codes until someone who can help has seen them. This is from a 2024 Ram 1500 in South Florida. That's the whole play. Make the next action something you can finish this week. Not interested in a five-hour wait for a shrug.
