Lift is installed — what geometry needs to be rechecked?

1988 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ62, about 1,200 miles. After lifting the vehicle, it drives okay but steering feels different and the wheel doesn't return to center as strongly. What alignment/geometry values matter most after a lift rather than just accepting 'green' numbers?

Write down what you already tried. A second data point from another 1988 Toyota Land Cruiser owner helps more than a generic diagnosis. That's where I'd start. Was this after sitting overnight? I'd rather be boring and correct. This is the version I'd tell a friend.

I hear you, though I'd still want a second check. On the 1988 Toyota Land Cruiser in Salt Lake City, I'd fix the thing you'll notice every day before chasing spec-sheet extras. That's where I'd start. On “what geometry needs to be rechecked,” that was the fork that mattered for me. Stop there until you know. If your situation is the opposite, ignore me. Wrote this up on my lunch break.

Don't overfit one forum story to your car. If it still isn't clear on the 1988 Toyota Land Cruiser, a specialist hour can be cheaper than another round of parts. I'd do that before spending real money. Any freeze-frame data saved? I'm keeping receipts and dates in one folder.

I'd keep this practical. Verify the cheap/easy branch on the 1988 Toyota Land Cruiser before a big repair or a big spend. Then you'll know the next fork. Post the numbers (or the code) and people can get more specific. Your commute and mine probably aren't the same, but the test still applies. I'll update if anything new shows up.
