Need advice: Steering oscillation after hitting a bump

2024 Ram 1500 Limited, about 37,000 miles. On certain rough highway sections the steering can start oscillating after a bump. Slowing down stops it. I'm looking for a diagnostic checklist rather than just installing a stronger stabilizer. If I fix it I'll come back and update the thread.

Owner notes beat generic advice here. On the 2024 Ram 1500 in Nationwide, I'd fix the thing you'll notice every day before chasing spec-sheet extras. Then you'll know the next fork. On “steering oscillation after hitting a bump,” that was the fork that mattered for me. If you share a photo of the worksheet, easier to sanity-check. Climate here is different, so treat that as a local data point. That's my plan before I call anyone.

Fair point. Counterpoint: Verify the cheap/easy branch on the 2024 Ram 1500 before a big repair or a big spend. That's where I'd start. This is from a 2024 Ram 1500 in Nationwide with 37,000 miles. Time, temperature, and whether it's in gear are the notes that actually help a shop. This is me being the wet blanket on purpose.
