1972 Chevrolet C10 — new tires are much louder than the old set

Same size and pressure, but the new tires create noticeably more highway hum. Is this usually tread pattern/compound, or should I verify balance and alignment before blaming the tire model?

I would start here: starting SOC and battery temp need to match if you are comparing charge sessions.

If it were mine, compare a couple of chargers before blaming the 1972 Chevrolet C10 — site sharing and pack temp change the curve a lot.

One thing that mattered for me: I would not clear alerts before service can see them on the 1972 Chevrolet C10.

Before you spend money, on the 1972 Chevrolet C10, I would treat a 12V warning as a no-ignore even if the pack is full.
