2004 Honda S2000 — best road-trip traits reviews barely talk about

After a few long trips I care more about seat shape, wind noise, HVAC behavior, storage and driver-assist smoothness than horsepower. What traits make a car great after eight hours? I am in Central Jersey.

Owner notes beat generic advice here. On the 2004 Honda S2000 in Central Jersey, I'd fix the thing you'll notice every day before chasing spec-sheet extras. Then you'll know the next fork. On “best road-trip traits reviews barely talk about,” that was the fork that mattered for me. If it doesn't change the out-the-door or the repair estimate, it's noise. Wrote this up on my lunch break.

Not convinced that's the whole story. Verify the cheap/easy branch on the 2004 Honda S2000 before a big repair or a big spend. That's where I'd start. I'd want a dollar figure or a measured spec, not 'should be fine.' This is me being the wet blanket on purpose.
