2004 Honda S2000 — is this actually a good used-car deal?

The online price looks competitive, but I am trying to judge the entire deal rather than the headline number. What should I compare besides mileage, history, condition and a PPI before deciding what it is worth?

I'd want competing paper, not competing stories. A written buyer’s order on the 2004 Honda S2000 is worth more than any verbal “we’ll make it work.” If they balk, that's your answer. Stop there until you know. Not trying to scare you — just skip the expensive first guess. PPI guy I use is booked until next week, so I'm waiting.

Walk if they won't put it on a buyer’s order. I would not wire money until I've seen the 2004 Honda S2000 and the title situation in person or via a trusted PPI. Then the comparison gets honest. If you share a photo of the worksheet, easier to sanity-check. Going to compare one more dealer before I decide.

I'd push back a little: I would not wire money until I've seen the 2004 Honda S2000 and the title situation in person or via a trusted PPI. Then the comparison gets honest. This is from a 2004 Honda S2000 in Nashville. If you share a photo of the worksheet, easier to sanity-check. I'm keeping receipts and dates in one folder.

Agree — and I'd add this: A written buyer’s order on the 2004 Honda S2000 is worth more than any verbal “we’ll make it work.” Do that before you talk monthly again. On “is this actually a good used-car deal,” that was the fork that mattered for me. Happy to compare notes if your setup is different. If your situation is the opposite, ignore me. I'd rather look cautious in this thread than stuck later.
