2004 Toyota Land Cruiser — what changed after 100k miles?

CityDaily186Community StarterJul 12, 20262004 Toyota Land CruiserBrooklyn
2004 Toyota Land Cruiser, about 132,000 miles. The car has crossed 100k and still drives well. I want to stay ahead of age-related failures instead of waiting for roadside problems. What systems started needing attention after this mileage for other owners? I am in Brooklyn.

I'd keep this practical. Verify the cheap/easy branch on the 2004 Toyota Land Cruiser before a big repair or a big spend. That's where I'd start. I'd want that in writing, not as a promise. This is me being the wet blanket on purpose.

Following up on what changed after 100k miles: still happening, but I have better notes now. This is the version I'd tell a friend.

Don't overfit one forum story to your car. If it still isn't clear on the 2004 Toyota Land Cruiser, a specialist hour can be cheaper than another round of parts. That's where I'd start. Have you gotten a second quote in writing? A day of patience here is cheaper than a wrong part. I'm keeping receipts and dates in one folder.

Owner notes beat generic advice here. On the 2004 Toyota Land Cruiser in Brooklyn, I'd fix the thing you'll notice every day before chasing spec-sheet extras. I'd do that before spending real money. On “what changed after 100k miles,” that was the fork that mattered for me. I'd want that in writing, not as a promise. Wrote this up on my lunch break.

I'd keep this practical. Verify the cheap/easy branch on the 2004 Toyota Land Cruiser before a big repair or a big spend. Then you'll know the next fork. Did the worksheet show tax yet? I'll update if anything new shows up.

OP update: I tried the earlier suggestion and it only happens under that one condition. That's my plan before I call anyone.
