2006 Mazda RX-8 Sport — first used oil analysis — what should I care about?

Thinking about sending an oil sample in mostly to establish a baseline. For a normal street car, which numbers are actually useful over time and which ones do people overreact to? Any data points from owners would help.

Write down what you already tried. A second data point from another 2006 Mazda RX-8 owner helps more than a generic diagnosis. I'd do that before spending real money. Did the worksheet show tax yet? I'd sleep better after that step, even if it finds nothing. If this is nothing, great. I want that in data.

Same neighborhood, different next step: A second data point from another 2006 Mazda RX-8 owner helps more than a generic diagnosis. That's where I'd start. This is from a 2006 Mazda RX-8 in Bay Area. Time, temperature, and whether it's in gear are the notes that actually help a shop. Not trying to scare you — just skip the expensive first guess. If this is nothing, great. I want that in data.

I'd push back a little: If it still isn't clear on the 2006 Mazda RX-8, a specialist hour can be cheaper than another round of parts. I'd do that before spending real money. Run the total, not the monthly, before you commit. I'm in no rush to be a hero on it.

Owner notes beat generic advice here. On the 2006 Mazda RX-8 in Bay Area, I'd fix the thing you'll notice every day before chasing spec-sheet extras. I'd do that before spending real money. On “8 sport — first used oil analysis,” that was the fork that mattered for me. This is from a 2006 Mazda RX-8 in Bay Area. Write the result down so the next test isn't a repeat of the last one. Wrote this up on my lunch break.

Following up on 8 sport — first used oil analysis: still happening, but I have better notes now. Wrote this up on my lunch break.

I'd rather look cautious in this thread than stuck later.
