2012 Honda Pilot — how do you set a hard auction bid limit?

2012 Honda Pilot EX-L, about 100,500 miles. I keep watching cars creep past what I planned because the last few minutes become emotional. How do experienced buyers set a maximum that includes fees, shipping, tax and immediate maintenance? If I figure it out I will update the thread.

Don't overfit one forum story to your car. If it still isn't clear on the 2012 Honda Pilot, a specialist hour can be cheaper than another round of parts. That's where I'd start. Had a similar mess a couple years ago and that's what finally sorted it. If the story changes I'll post the new data.
