2013 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 — second battery versus portable power station — second opinion before I spend money

2013 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 LT, about 147,000 miles. I want reliable fridge/lights/device power for weekend trips without making the vehicle electrical system unnecessarily complicated. When does a hardwired dual-battery setup beat a portable power station?

I parked the 2013 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 and wrote down what I already tested so I'm not repeating myself. I'd rather look cautious in this thread than stuck later.

I'd keep this practical. Verify the cheap/easy branch on the 2013 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 before a big repair or a big spend. I'd do that before spending real money. This is from a 2013 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 in New Jersey with 147,000 miles. Time, temperature, and whether it's in gear are the notes that actually help a shop. I'll update if anything new shows up.
