2016 Chevrolet Camaro — car died once at a light and restarted immediately

RoadShopperCommunity StarterJul 22, 20262016 Chevrolet Camaro SSConnecticut
2016 Chevrolet Camaro SS, about 129,000 miles. The engine shut off at a stop once, restarted right away, and has been normal since. No warning stayed on. What data or checks would you prioritize before trusting it on a long trip?

Owner notes beat generic advice here. On the 2016 Chevrolet Camaro in Connecticut, I'd fix the thing you'll notice every day before chasing spec-sheet extras. Then you'll know the next fork. On “car died once at a light and,” that was the fork that mattered for me. That's the sequence I'd use. That's my plan before I call anyone.

I'd keep this practical. Verify the cheap/easy branch on the 2016 Chevrolet Camaro before a big repair or a big spend. I'd do that before spending real money. This is from a 2016 Chevrolet Camaro in Connecticut with 129,000 miles. No need to make it theatrical. I've seen both outcomes, which is why I'd test instead of assume. I'll update if anything new shows up.

I'd push back a little: If it still isn't clear on the 2016 Chevrolet Camaro, a specialist hour can be cheaper than another round of parts. That's where I'd start. If you share a photo of the worksheet, easier to sanity-check. That's coming from doing this as an owner, not a shop. I'm in no rush to be a hero on it.

Useful. I'll report back after I verify that on my 2016 Chevrolet Camaro. If the story changes I'll post the new data.

On “car died once at a light and,” that was the fork that mattered for me. I'd want a dollar figure or a measured spec, not 'should be fine.' If your situation is the opposite, ignore me. I'd rather look cautious in this thread than stuck later.
