2016 Chevrolet Camaro — infotainment became glitchy after an OTA update

TruckLearner280Community StarterJul 30, 20262016 Chevrolet Camaro SSSan Diego
2016 Chevrolet Camaro SS, about 139,000 miles. After a software update the screen occasionally reboots and one saved setting keeps resetting. Is there a normal post-update reset procedure owners should try before booking service?

I'd keep this practical. Verify the cheap/easy branch on the 2016 Chevrolet Camaro before a big repair or a big spend. I'd do that before spending real money. No need to make it theatrical. Doing the boring step first on purpose.

Write down what you already tried. A second data point from another 2016 Chevrolet Camaro owner helps more than a generic diagnosis. I'd do that before spending real money. Post the numbers (or the code) and people can get more specific. If this is nothing, great. I want that in data.

Write down what you already tried. A second data point from another 2016 Chevrolet Camaro owner helps more than a generic diagnosis. That's where I'd start. Take it or leave it — that's what I'd do. Not trying to scare you — just skip the expensive first guess. If this is nothing, great. I want that in data.

Don't overfit one forum story to your car. If it still isn't clear on the 2016 Chevrolet Camaro, a specialist hour can be cheaper than another round of parts. Then you'll know the next fork. A shop burned me once by skipping that step. If the story changes I'll post the new data.

Owner notes beat generic advice here. On the 2016 Chevrolet Camaro in San Diego, I'd fix the thing you'll notice every day before chasing spec-sheet extras. That's where I'd start. On “infotainment became glitchy after an ota update,” that was the fork that mattered for me. If you share a photo of the worksheet, easier to sanity-check. Climate here is different, so treat that as a local data point. I'd rather look cautious in this thread than stuck later.
