2016 Chevrolet Camaro SS — cPO luxury SUV or brand-new mainstream SUV?

2016 Chevrolet Camaro SS, about 96,000 miles. Budget works for either a lightly used luxury SUV or a new mainstream model with a full warranty. I'm more worried about three-to-five-year ownership cost and service downtime than the purchase price. How would you compare them? Trying to diagnose before I book a shop.

Walk if they won't put it on a buyer’s order. In Philadelphia, insurance quotes flipped a 2016 Chevrolet Camaro comparison for me more than the sale price did. Then the comparison gets honest. Take it or leave it — that's what I'd do. Doc fee is the line I'm watching.

Get the messy numbers in writing first. A written buyer’s order on the 2016 Chevrolet Camaro is worth more than any verbal “we’ll make it work.” I'd rather lose the car than buy a foggy deal. On “cpo luxury suv or brand-new mainstream suv,” that was the fork that mattered for me. If it doesn't change the out-the-door or the repair estimate, it's noise. Wrote this up on my lunch break.
