2016 Chevrolet Camaro SS — question: CPO luxury SUV or brand-new mainstream SUV?

2016 Chevrolet Camaro SS, about 62,000 miles. Budget works for either a lightly used luxury SUV or a new mainstream model with a full warranty. I'm more worried about three-to-five-year ownership cost and service downtime than the purchase price. How would you compare them? If I fix it I'll come back and update the thread. What am I missing?

Insurance and tax belong in the comparison, not as a surprise. Ask for out-the-door on the 2016 Chevrolet Camaro with fees, add-ons, and rate on separate lines. I'd rather lose the car than buy a foggy deal. On “question: cpo luxury suv or brand-new mainstream,” that was the fork that mattered for me. Was this after sitting overnight? That's my plan before I call anyone.

Walk if they won't put it on a buyer’s order. Two 2016 Chevrolet Camaro quotes only help if both include tax, title, and the same options. Then the comparison gets honest. This is from a 2016 Chevrolet Camaro in Atlanta with 62,000 miles. If they can't show the line item, I assume it's hiding. Going to compare one more dealer before I decide.

I'd want competing paper, not competing stories. GAP, paint, and nitrogen are optional until you run the 2016 Chevrolet Camaro numbers without them. Do that before you talk monthly again. Stop there until you know. Not trying to scare you — just skip the expensive first guess. Sleeping on the number either way.

I'd slow the salesperson down here. I would not wire money until I've seen the 2016 Chevrolet Camaro and the title situation in person or via a trusted PPI. That's the part that actually changes the decision. Happy to compare notes if your setup is different. Calling insurance in the morning before I reply to the desk.
