2018 Cadillac CTS-V — cheap project has enough margin to fix and resell?

TruckDadCommunity StarterAug 26, 20262018 Cadillac CTS-VFlorida
2018 Cadillac CTS-V, about 43,500 miles. I found a running car with cosmetic damage and deferred maintenance at a low price. Before treating it as a flip, how do you budget hidden repairs, title/registration, taxes, transport and selling time? I am trying to get the facts straight before spending money.

Insurance and tax belong in the comparison, not as a surprise. Call your insurer in Florida before you fall in love with the 2018 Cadillac CTS-V. I'd rather lose the car than buy a foggy deal. On “v — cheap project has enough margin,” that was the fork that mattered for me. This is from a 2018 Cadillac CTS-V in Florida with 43,500 miles. I'd want a dollar figure or a measured spec, not 'should be fine.' If GAP is bundled I'm making them unbundle it.

OP here. Still looking, but I'm waiting on inspection notes before I send money on the 2018 Cadillac CTS-V. If they only talk monthly I'm walking.

Don't send a deposit on a phone quote. In Florida, insurance quotes flipped a 2018 Cadillac CTS-V comparison for me more than the sale price did. That's the part that actually changes the decision. That's the whole play. Not wiring anything in the meantime.

Hard-won lesson from my last deal: Call your insurer in Florida before you fall in love with the 2018 Cadillac CTS-V. If they balk, that's your answer. On “v — cheap project has enough margin,” that was the fork that mattered for me. I'd want a dollar figure or a measured spec, not 'should be fine.' If your situation is the opposite, ignore me. Wrote this up on my lunch break.
