2018 Chevrolet Tahoe — driver seat clicks during left-right transitions

2018 Chevrolet Tahoe LT, about 104,500 miles. I can feel a small click through the seat base in corners. Mounting bolts appear tight and power functions work. How do you isolate rail play versus the frame or motor mechanism? If I figure it out I will update the thread. What would you check next?

Thanks — that narrowed it. I'm going to try the simpler check on the 2018 Chevrolet Tahoe first. I'd rather look cautious in this thread than stuck later.

I'd keep this practical. Verify the cheap/easy branch on the 2018 Chevrolet Tahoe before a big repair or a big spend. That's where I'd start. Any freeze-frame data saved? This is me being the wet blanket on purpose.

Write down what you already tried. A second data point from another 2018 Chevrolet Tahoe owner helps more than a generic diagnosis. Then you'll know the next fork. This is from a 2018 Chevrolet Tahoe in Sacramento with 104,500 miles. If it doesn't change the out-the-door or the repair estimate, it's noise. Might be overthinking it, but I'd rather overthink than overspend.

Agree — and I'd add this: A second data point from another 2018 Chevrolet Tahoe owner helps more than a generic diagnosis. I'd do that before spending real money. Had a similar mess a couple years ago and that's what finally sorted it. I'd sleep better after that step, even if it finds nothing. This is the version I'd tell a friend.
