2018 Chevrolet Tahoe — driver seat clicks during left-right transitions — trying to narrow this down

This started as a small annoyance and I finally decided to track it down. I can feel a small click through the seat base in corners. Mounting bolts appear tight and power functions work. How do you isolate rail play versus the frame or motor mechanism? I am trying to get the facts straight before spending money.
