2018 Infiniti Q50 — car died once at a light and restarted immediately

2018 Infiniti Q50 Red Sport, about 46,500 miles. The engine shut off at a stop once, restarted right away, and has been normal since. No warning stayed on. What data or checks would you prioritize before trusting it on a long trip? I am in Las Vegas. What would you check next?

Don't overfit one forum story to your car. If it still isn't clear on the 2018 Infiniti Q50, a specialist hour can be cheaper than another round of parts. I'd do that before spending real money. Do that first. That's coming from doing this as an owner, not a shop. I'm keeping receipts and dates in one folder.

I'd sleep better after that step, even if it finds nothing. If this is nothing, great. I want that in data.

Agree — and I'd add this: On the 2018 Infiniti Q50 in Las Vegas, I'd fix the thing you'll notice every day before chasing spec-sheet extras. That's where I'd start. On “car died once at a light and,” that was the fork that mattered for me. If they can't show the line item, I assume it's hiding. If your situation is the opposite, ignore me. That's my plan before I call anyone.
