2018 Infiniti Q50 — delayed engagement into Drive when cold — Phoenix owner

LongMilesCommuter998Community StarterSep 4, 20262018 Infiniti Q50 Red SportPhoenix
After sitting overnight, shifting from Park to Drive can take a second or two before the vehicle actually engages. Once warm it behaves normally. Would you start with fluid, adaptation data, mounts or something mechanical? Interested in real owner experience more than guesses. Mileage is about 18,000.

One thing that mattered for me: in Phoenix, I care more about the thing I will notice every day than the spec-sheet extra.

I would start here: write down what you already tested so the next step is not a repeat.

Before you spend money, owner data points help more than a generic forum diagnosis on a 2018 Infiniti Q50.

If it were mine, I would verify the cheap/easy branch on the 2018 Infiniti Q50 before committing to a big repair.
