2018 Mitsubishi Outlander SE, about 94,000 miles. Auction listing has lots of cosmetic photos and records, but not much underneath.

Hard-won lesson from my last deal: A written buyer’s order on the 2018 Mitsubishi Outlander is worth more than any verbal “we’ll make it work.” I'd rather lose the car than buy a foggy deal. On “online auction photos barely show the underside,” that was the fork that mattered for me. Learned this the expensive way on a previous car. If GAP is bundled I'm making them unbundle it.

Hard-won lesson from my last deal: Ask for out-the-door on the 2018 Mitsubishi Outlander with fees, add-ons, and rate on separate lines. If they balk, that's your answer. On “online auction photos barely show the underside,” that was the fork that mattered for me. Was this after sitting overnight? If your situation is the opposite, ignore me. I'd rather look cautious in this thread than stuck later.

Don't send a deposit on a phone quote. If one piece looks too good on the 2018 Mitsubishi Outlander, hunt doc fees, accessories, and the APR next. That's the part that actually changes the decision. No need to make it theatrical. If the story changes I'll post the new data.

PPI is scheduled. I'm not depositing until I see the 2018 Mitsubishi Outlander notes. This is me being the wet blanket on purpose.

If I were shopping this, if one piece looks too good on the 2018 Mitsubishi Outlander, hunt doc fees, accessories, and the APR next. That's the part that actually changes the decision. Had a similar mess a couple years ago and that's what finally sorted it. Your commute and mine probably aren't the same, but the test still applies. Doc fee is the line I'm watching.

I'd slow the salesperson down here. Two 2018 Mitsubishi Outlander quotes only help if both include tax, title, and the same options. That's the part that actually changes the decision. Stop there until you know. If the story changes I'll post the new data.

Walk if they won't put it on a buyer’s order. If one piece looks too good on the 2018 Mitsubishi Outlander, hunt doc fees, accessories, and the APR next. Then the comparison gets honest. This is from a 2018 Mitsubishi Outlander in Orange County with 94,000 miles. When does it actually happen? I'll update if anything new shows up.

Don't send a deposit on a phone quote. I would not wire money until I've seen the 2018 Mitsubishi Outlander and the title situation in person or via a trusted PPI. That's the part that actually changes the decision. Had a similar mess a couple years ago and that's what finally sorted it. Make the next action something you can finish this week. If the story changes I'll post the new data.

I'd want competing paper, not competing stories. A written buyer’s order on the 2018 Mitsubishi Outlander is worth more than any verbal “we’ll make it work.” If they balk, that's your answer. Post the numbers (or the code) and people can get more specific. If this is nothing, great. I want that in data.

Quick add on that: Keep sale price, trade, and financing split on the 2018 Mitsubishi Outlander so a “good payment” cannot bury a worse deal. Do that before you talk monthly again. On “online auction photos barely show the underside,” that was the fork that mattered for me. If you share a photo of the worksheet, easier to sanity-check. Climate here is different, so treat that as a local data point. I'd rather look cautious in this thread than stuck later.

Agree — and I'd add this: Ask for out-the-door on the 2018 Mitsubishi Outlander with fees, add-ons, and rate on separate lines. Do that before you talk monthly again. This is from a 2018 Mitsubishi Outlander in Orange County with 94,000 miles. A shop burned me once by skipping that step. PPI guy I use is booked until next week, so I'm waiting.

Quick update: a second 2018 Mitsubishi Outlander quote made the first offer look ordinary. Wrote this up on my lunch break.

Same neighborhood, different next step: A written buyer’s order on the 2018 Mitsubishi Outlander is worth more than any verbal “we’ll make it work.” I'd rather lose the car than buy a foggy deal. This is from a 2018 Mitsubishi Outlander in Orange County with 94,000 miles. Have you gotten a second quote in writing? I'll post OTD once I have two apples-to-apples sheets.
