2018 Volvo S90 — is this actually a good used-car deal?

WeekendNomad775Community StarterApr 29, 20262018 Volvo S90 T6Raleigh
2018 Volvo S90 T6, about 65,500 miles. The online price looks competitive, but I am trying to judge the entire deal rather than the headline number. What should I compare besides mileage, history, condition and a PPI before deciding what it is worth? I am in Raleigh.

Insurance and tax belong in the comparison, not as a surprise. Keep sale price, trade, and financing split on the 2018 Volvo S90 so a “good payment” cannot bury a worse deal. Do that before you talk monthly again. On “is this actually a good used-car deal,” that was the fork that mattered for me. This is from a 2018 Volvo S90 in Raleigh with 65,500 miles. Verbal 'we'll take care of it' is not a plan. I asked for the buyer’s order in email, not a text.

Asking because it changes the advice: If one piece looks too good on the 2018 Volvo S90, hunt doc fees, accessories, and the APR next. Screenshot the worksheet if you can. This is from a 2018 Volvo S90 in Raleigh with 65,500 miles. That's the whole play. Make the next action something you can finish this week. Calling insurance in the morning before I reply to the desk.

PPI is scheduled. I'm not depositing until I see the 2018 Volvo S90 notes. I'll update if anything new shows up.

Walk if they won't put it on a buyer’s order. If one piece looks too good on the 2018 Volvo S90, hunt doc fees, accessories, and the APR next. Then the comparison gets honest. No need to make it theatrical. Your commute and mine probably aren't the same, but the test still applies. Doing the boring step first on purpose.

I'd want competing paper, not competing stories. A written buyer’s order on the 2018 Volvo S90 is worth more than any verbal “we’ll make it work.” If they balk, that's your answer. This is from a 2018 Volvo S90 in Raleigh with 65,500 miles. If it doesn't change the out-the-door or the repair estimate, it's noise. I'd sleep better after that step, even if it finds nothing. PPI guy I use is booked until next week, so I'm waiting.

Hard-won lesson from my last deal: A written buyer’s order on the 2018 Volvo S90 is worth more than any verbal “we’ll make it work.” Do that before you talk monthly again. On “is this actually a good used-car deal,” that was the fork that mattered for me. Do that first. I screenshotted the quote for later.
