If it were in my driveway, get a real battery/charging test on the 2020 BMW M2, not just resting voltage, before blaming a module. That's the branch I'd chase this week. Was this after sitting overnight? I keep a notes app thread for this now.

Intermittent stuff lies if you only catch it once. Capture voltage while the 2020 BMW M2 is actually failing — after it restarts you've lost the clue. Don't erase codes until someone who can help has seen them. On “no crank with full dash power, then,” that was the fork that mattered for me. That's the sequence I'd use. Might be overthinking it, but I'd rather overthink than overspend.

I wouldn't throw parts yet. Loaded-suspension checks on the 2020 BMW M2 catch play that a wheels-hanging inspection misses. That's the branch I'd chase this week. This is from a 2020 BMW M2 in Texas with 113,500 miles. Learned this the expensive way on a previous car. I've seen both outcomes, which is why I'd test instead of assume. Not interested in a five-hour wait for a shrug.

I went back under the 2020 BMW M2 and it only happens after a heat soak, not on a cold start. I'd rather look cautious in this thread than stuck later.
